Family Pictures

My sister came down and stayed with us over Thanksgiving and it was so much fun. She was so nice to take some pictures of my little family. I think she is the only on who is loud and funny enough to get Maxs attention so he would look at the camera:) She really had us all believing she had ants in her pants. He He!!! Thanks Jam they turned out cute!

Our little Guy....
Max turned two in June and he is so dang fun and full of energy. He keeps us busy all day long. He loves playing in his clubhouse out back which consists of a big dirt pile, boys and thier imagination:)

I am so greatful for my family and for the love and joy they bring to my life. They are my whole world. I'm so glad to have a husband who takes such good care of his family and for what an amazing husband and dad he is for loving us through thick and thin.

The Hughes girls Disneyland Trip

Last week we set out on our girl trip to Disneyland.... no husbands.....no kids..!!!!!!! We had such a blast. I haven't been to Disneyland since I was like eight and I was so excited. I could only remember a couple of things about it, but was so excited to refresh my memory. I forgot my camera the first two days, so I only got like 10 pictures I was so bummed out. Here I am Brighten in front of the princess castle this is for you.

Mom Everywhere there was benches they had these cut little patches of pretty flowers, you would have loved it everything is so green there. That is were we should live. Somewhere really green:)

This is Mickey dancing for me:) I have a video of him and Max just wants to watch it over and over again. He would have loved going. I was sad he wasn't there with me.

Max loves to have company he had to show them all his favorite toys and tell them all the new words we was learning. Grandma was pretty impressed about how smart he was:) We got a cut picture. I love this one.

Max couldn't leave grandpa's sunglasses alone so he let him try them out out for awhile. Mr. Bug eyes

What does Santa say, " Ho, Ho, Ho."

Max was so excited about Santa this year.... really I am serious:) We ask him what Santa says, and he puckers up his lips and says Ho...Ho...Ho. It is so super funny. So when Santa came to our cousin, friend Christmas party he did pretty good.... no tears just a lot of staring. Santa had candy canes and Max was trying to steal all of the other kids candy once they got their Candy cane form Santa, but you only got a candy cane if you told him what you wanted for Christmas. So Santa had to coax max up to him with the candy cane like a little fish and snagged him once he got close:) This is Max telling Santa he wanted MOM and trying to make his get away after he finally got his candy cane.

Are prayers were answered.....and we were able to travel safely, the weather turned out to be perfect so we could go visit Grandma and grandpa Lee,and everyone in our family. I was going to have a breakdown if I couldn't visit for Christmas. But my Heavenly father knew how important it was to me and mad it possible for us to all be together. We had such a blast playing in the snow for hours. Little max-o-kid was a sport and loves to tromp around in the snow for the first time. He loved it so much sledding was his favorite daddy pulled him around and he just giggled.

Here we are a bunch of ice sickles freezing our fannies off. We were not used to the cold or the snow, but it was so fun to play as a family and to have Max experience the snow. We all loved it and had lots of fun.
We had a Merry Christmas and were so grateful to be with family around the Holidays. We love you all and had so much fun hanging out with you. Max loves his cousins and aunts and uncles they make him laugh so much. We miss you all and love all you do.

Cop cars, sirens and tears:)

Have you ever locked your child in the car? Well I'll have to admit it just happened to me:( Here you go Brother here are the pictures. Sorry they are so late.
See this is why we were in the car. Max wakes up every morning and the first thing that he says is TRUCK. Thanks to Grandpa Lee my child is addicted to trucks cars, four wheelers, basically anything with a horn, wheels and a stearing wheel. So Max every morning would rather play in the car than his toys.

This is the first 5 minutes of beeing lock in the car. He was running away from me to the other side. He thought he was funny. Finally I got him back over to me and this is him pointing to the unlock button but had no idea what we were talking about
"Mom this isn't funny get me out of here." Max really getting mad at this point it had probably been 15 minutes. Rusty and our good frieand Mike the detective/cop friend of ours came to rescue us. He came pulling up with his lights and sirens.... I was so mad ... Just let the wholw world know I locked my kid in the car:)

Finally after like a half an hour we got the little rascal out> Mike gave max a trauma teddy bear and he felt lots better. Sorry Buddy I love you I'll never lock you in the car again.

HaPpY HaLLOwEeN!!!

So Halloween was super fun Max doesn't get too excited about dressing up. Everytime I tried to get him to wear his helmet he would waer it about half a second and then there he was ripping it off his cute little red head:)...this is the face of him saying,"Man this thing stinks get it off my head please." Max playing dress up at Grandma Angie's. We like Bateman better than princess dresses. Easton this is for you buddy Max dresssed up wanting to play Bateman with you a couple days before Halloween. He liked that costume better. Me and Max at the ward Trunk-or-treat party!Do you think he looks like me or what. My KnIgHt In ShInInG aRmOr saving cousin Jessa MiSs FaIrY pRiNcEsS!!! Never go to freakin Pizza Hut in Mesquite they are slower than tar:) Isn't Pizza Hut out of business everywhere else anyway? We are a little behind on the times out here in BFE! What a crazy night, but we had fun anyway. I had a super funny video of Max eating Grandma Joye's salad he was pushing it back to her then pulling it back to him a hundred times. What a silly boy I'm telling ya he will eat anything. Good thing grandma likes to share. Thanks mon we LOVE you. My mom and dad came down this last weekend for the PBR and it just happened to be over Halloween, so they got to see Max all dressed up and we got to play and go shopping to find my mom some tight jeans to show off her skinny butt:) She looked like a babe. Here we are trying to take a picture of ourselves as we are walking!

HAL- LE - LU- JAH....HAL - LE- LU- JAH

Nap time... No More Chore!!!! For those of who don't know Max.... well let me inform you. We tease and call him crack head baby because he never slows down and never wants to give it up enough to take a nap. He would stay awake all day if I didn't make him take a nap. I literally had to force him to take a nap for my own sanity. We tried everything sticking him in the crib to cry it out, but the fits just weren't worth it. He would get so mad he would throw himself down and hit his head, makes himself throw up, one time he pulled himself up over the side of his crib and fell out. It was as low as the crib could go. So then he was terrified of his bed and wouldn't even sleep in it, let me tell you it was never easy. Sleeping has never been fun for us. Well the day has finally come after 16 months of sucky sleep... this last week he has just been so good about falling asleep on his own he likes his crib his blankie in there with him and walla. Last Thursday it all began. He was totally exhausted and I couldn't get him down so I took him in his room and laid him down with blankie and baba in hand. He laid there great no fuss at all and I sang him a couple of songs and he just fell asleep. I was shocked so excited, slowly I creaped out and waited for a cry. No cry and he slept clear till 6 am. So we did it for our nap the next day, and night time again, and ever since I can go set him in there and in less that a couple of minutes I can leave. Oh my life is so great. How much easier kids are when they sleep:) What a great week I hope he sticks with it.
